How do I report inappropriate content?

Updated over 6 months ago

On Connect, we aim to maintain a respectful, safe, and abuse-free environment.

If you see content that violates our Community Guidelines — such as hate speech, harassment, impersonation, illegal material, or spam — you can report it directly.

How to report a post:

  1. Open the post you want to report.

  2. Click on the three dots menu (…) in the top-right corner of the post.

  3. Select “Report”.

  4. Choose the reason for your report from the list provided.

  5. Optionally, add a short comment to clarify.

  6. Submit your report — our moderation team will review it as soon as possible.

You will receive a notification when your report has been reviewed.

Reports are handled confidentially — the user who published the content will not be informed that you submitted the report.

All validated reports earn you HappyPoints as a reward for helping keep the community safe and clean.

🚨 Abuse of the reporting system is not tolerated.

If you misreport 5 pieces of content (i.e., fake or unfounded reports), your account will be suspended for violating the integrity of the moderation process.

We take all reports seriously and act accordingly to protect the integrity of the community, but we also expect responsible and fair use of this tool.
